Precision Core Cutting for Tough MaterialsEngineered for industrial and laboratory applications, this machine ensures accurate core extraction from a range of hard materials including concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Its diamond-tipped blade, paired with water cooling, delivers efficient results while minimizing dust and heat during the cutting process.
Built for Durability and Ease of UseManufactured from heavy-duty, anti-corrosive mild steel, the core cutting machine is designed to withstand rigorous use. With manual and semi-automatic control modes, as well as a manually adjustable micrometer for cutting depth, the operator benefits from flexibility and precision during operation.
Safe Operation and Flexible ControlUser safety is prioritized with integrated blade guards and an emergency stop switch. The machine supports both manual and semi-automatic modes, allowing for controlled and adaptive cutting operations suitable for multiple sample sizes and specimen types.
FAQ's of Core Cutting Machine:
Q: How does the water cooling system benefit the core cutting process?
A: The water cooling system continuously cools the diamond-tipped cutting blade, reducing heat build-up and minimizing dust generation. This enhances blade life, ensures clean cuts, and provides safer, more efficient operation during extended use.
Q: What sizes and types of core specimens can this machine handle?
A: The machine accommodates single specimens ranging from 50 mm to 150 mm in diameter and up to 200 mm in depth. It is suitable for extracting core samples from concrete, rock, masonry, and asphalt, covering most core sampling needs in laboratories and construction sites.
Q: When is it necessary to use the emergency stop switch on the machine?
A: The emergency stop switch should be used immediately if an unsafe condition occurs, such as unexpected machine behavior, jamming, or if someone is at risk. It instantly halts the operation to prevent accidents or damage.
Q: Where should the core cutting machine be installed for optimal performance?
A: The machine is best mounted on a stable, stationary bench in a well-ventilated industrial or laboratory environment with access to a 220V power supply and a water inlet. This ensures sturdy operation and efficient water-cooling during core cutting processes.
Q: What is the process for adjusting cutting depth and width?
A: Cutting depth is manually set using the integrated micrometer adjustment, ensuring accurate, repeatable cuts up to 200 mm deep. The adjustable vise allows secure placement of core specimens of varying diameters, up to the 150 mm cut width.
Q: How is the noise level managed during operation?
A: With operational noise below 70 dB, the machine remains suitable for indoor use, providing a quieter environment for laboratories and industrial settings compared to traditional cutting methods.
Q: What are the main benefits of using this core cutting machine for sample preparation?
A: Key benefits include high accuracy (1 mm), versatile control (manual/semi-automatic), enhanced safety features, durability against corrosion, reduced operational noise, and efficient blade cooling, all of which contribute to reliable and high-quality specimen extraction.
